III VRSA International Collecting MeetingThe António Aleixo Cultural Center, in Vila Real de Santo António, hosts on Saturday, June 6th, the III International Collecting Meeting.

The activity is organized by the VRSA Firemen's Collecting Section and brings together enthusiasts from Portugal and Spain who will exhibit thousands of objects such as stamps, pens, key rings, medals, coins, banknotes, pocket calendars or old crediphones.

This edition brings together around 150 participants, namely the biggest camera collector in the country (born in Monchique) and one of the biggest pin collectors in Europe (born in Jerez de la Frontera).

To mark the initiative, five collections of sugar packages will be launched that portray images of the city of Vila Real de Santo António, the fauna and flora of the Ria Formosa, as well as the old vehicles and commemorative badges of the VRSA Volunteer Firefighters.

Simultaneously, two stamps, a stamp, an envelope and two collections of postcards will be issued, one of which alludes to the 125th anniversary of the Collections Section.

In addition to the philatelic clubs in the Algarve, this year's meeting will include the presence of the Lisbon Numismat Forum, the Huelva Philatelic and Numismatic Club, the Lisbon Numismat Club and the Amigos do Selo de Faro.
