allergies«Allergies and the Cost of Health in Portugal» is the theme of the Science à Conversa debate, promoted by the Centro Ciência Viva de Lagos (CCVL), on Saturday, June 20, at 17:30 pm, at FNAC Algarve Shopping (Guia).

The objective is to create an «open and enlightened debate» on Chronic Respiratory Diseases – Allergies, and the cost associated with their treatment and with Health in general in Portugal, both in the Public and Private Hospital environment. AND

This event has the participation of the Immunoalergologist Carlos Nunes, director of the Center for Immunoalergology of the Algarve, José Carlos Queimado, administrator of the Hospital S. Gonçalo de Lagos Unit, and Ester Coelho, president of the Clinical and Health Council of ACES Algarve II – Windward.

This is an event aimed at the general public, aimed at «bringing the community closer to the themes of Health, promoting the increase of public interest and Health Literacy», stresses the CCV Lagos.

This action is part of the “Saúde a 4 Tempos” project, supported by a prize from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, which the Centro Ciência Viva de Lagos is implementing during 2015.
