Sociedade Polis Litoral Ria Formosa is contracting a «very significant set of dredging» in Ria Formosa, which will represent a total investment of around 6,5 million euros.
In response to a set of questions posed by email by Sul Informação, Sociedade Polis added that the dredging will start in Tavira, in an investment of 1.319.297 euros, including also the dredging of Barrinha do Ancão/Esteiro do Ramalhete (2.460.000 euros), Canal Faro-Olhão (1.840.080 euros) and Barra da Armona (773.916 euros).
Polis also said that the contracts for the Parque Ribeirinho do Ludo in Loulé (399.683 euros), for the car park outside Praia de Praia are currently under contract. Faro (895.700 euros) and Requalification of access to Praia de Faro (636.000 euros).
The interventions of Quatros Águas (2.439.764 euros) and the Landscape Rehabilitation of the Pedras D'El Rei – Santa Luzia Connection (640.917 euros), both in the municipality of Tavira, are already underway, as well as the redevelopment of Praia dos Cavacos (305.111 euros) ), in Olhão.
Sociedade Polis added that «from the actions already completed, and in addition to the renaturalization of Fuseta, the contract for the Parque Ribeirinho de Faro (3.200.798 euros), Requalification of Marginal de Cabanas (4.018.397 euros), Creation, Requalification and Improvement of Docking Infrastructure and Adjacent Areas/Fuzeta, Culatra, Armona Pier (3.047.211 euros), and Requalification of the Chatlet João Lúcio (1.537.500 euros)».
Polis even stressed, in its response to the questions posed by the Sul Informação, which «has been developing a wide range of interventions, more than 80% of which correspond to valorisation actions».
