bus 640-7067The clarification session of the Operational Program for Sustainability and Efficiency in the Use of Resources, organized in partnership with CRESC Algarve 2020, scheduled for May 25, in São Brás de Alportel, will reveal information about incentives available under the PO SEUR, with direct application in the territory of the Algarve.

Applications will soon be open for renewable energy and energy efficiency in public transport. A theme in which the Algarve is even pioneering, as the first 100% electric bus in the country has been used, for a year, in a regular public transport route, in Faro.

The Algarve will also receive, as part of the “drawer” of European Funds available for the 2014-2020 period, the updating and expansion of charging stations for the MOBI electric mobility network, as well as warnings for the protection of the coast and basic sanitation.

The event lasts one afternoon and includes a welcome by the Mayor of São Brás de Alportel, Vitor Guerreiro, the intervention of the President of the Management Committee of the Operational Program of the Algarve, David Santos, which is followed by background intervention by Helena Azevedo, president of the PO SEUR Board of Directors.

At the end there will be a period of debate and clarification on the submission of applications for Portugal 2020.
