Membership was a record compared to previous years, with more than 1200 dinners being served during a week.

In the commemorative edition of the 5th anniversary, “Algarve Chefs Week 5.0” extended its scope to more restaurants, with the participation of 10 Executive Chefs from 5 star hotels in the Algarve, who created signature menus inspired by the five most typical ingredients of the Algarve. region (Sal, Figo Seco, Carob, Broad Beans and Orange).

The Algarve's luxury gastronomic week had a solidarity component, supporting the CASA Association, Support Center for the Homeless (delegation of Faro), with €1 of the total value of each meal. Altogether, the 10 hotels raised around 1.233 euros for CASA's projects.

To mark the anniversary of the “Algarve Chefs Week” and the success of the initiative over these 5 years, a cookbook will also be released with a compilation of the dishes created over 5 editions of “Algarve Chefs Week”.
