The social solidarity event “Oficina das Profissões”, which the BNI Sul Group promoted on the past 17th and 18th of April, at Portimão Arena, was a full-fledged success, having recorded on the first day, dedicated exclusively to the visit of kindergartens, day care centers and schools, a total of 1.050 children, in about 40 classes.
On the second day, open to the general population, more than 1.500 children accompanied by family members visited the space in Portimão Arena, in a total volume of visits that amounted to more than 3.900 entries.
The "Oficina das Profissões", in its editions, aims to instill an entrepreneurial spirit in the youngest and demonstrate how to work as a team, highlighting the importance of creating synergies between the various areas/professions, and enabling direct contact with entrepreneurs from the Algarve region, who, through games, will build scenarios for their own business activities.
At the same time, it has a charitable aspect, sensitizing those who visit the event to bring clothes, a food or toy that they wish to offer, to help disadvantaged families and children.
In this way, the products collected on the first day were delivered to CRATO – Alcoholism and Drug Addiction Recovery Clinic, while on the second day they reverted to Associação Flor Amiga, an association that supports needy families.
