On the agenda Anabela Rodrigues, the signing of another protocol was planned, which did not happen.

The support building inaugurated yesterday has 15 rooms for INEM helicopter teams and other aerial firefighting, search and rescue teams. The work cost 600 thousand euros to the Municipality of Loulé and is located next to the Municipal Fire Department and the Heliport.

Before the inauguration, Anabela Rodrigues was in Paços do Concelho, to ratify the protocol between the National Civil Protection Authority, the Algarve Intermunicipal Community and the Algarve Firefighters Federation, which provides more than one million and two hundred thousand euros to the Special Device of Fire Fighting in the Algarve.

This amount will be used to set up intervention teams for the period with the greatest fire risk, from May 15th to October 15th. Of the total amount, 953 thousand euros are financed by the National Civil Protection Authority and the rest (318 euros) by the 16 Algarve municipalities.

The minister's program also provided for the signing of the land transfer protocol, by the Loulé Council, for the construction of the new headquarters of the District Relief Operations Command of Faro (CDOS), but that didn't happen.

Anabela Rodrigues guaranteed, however, that the protocol will be signed soon, and justified the change of plans for yesterday with "formal and legal details".

Vitor Aleixo, on the other hand, proposed to the government official to schedule the signing of the protocol for May 14, the city's day.

The land to be transferred should be located next to the Heliport and the Municipal Fire Department.

In the afternoon, minister Anabela Rodrigues was in Portimão to inaugurate the new Municipal Center for Civil Protection and Relief Operations, considered “one of the best municipal centers nationwide”.
