One death and two serious injuries are the result of an accident that this afternoon, at around 15:30 pm, involved three vehicles, on the EN125, at the Vale Verde site, between Guia and AlgarveShopping.
Due to the seriousness of the accident, which resulted from a head-on collision between two of the three vehicles involved, traffic was cut off until close to 19:00, a source from the CDOS told Sul Informação.
The victim was a 48-year-old man, and the seriously injured were taken to the Hospital de Faro.
There are 14 vehicles and 32 operational vehicles at the site, from the Fire Department of Albufeira, Messines, INEM, GNR and also the company Rotas do Algarve, the EN125 concessionaire.
