Baja European City of Sport 2015 posterThe Baja European Sport City 2015 hosts the main National Cross-Country Championships, with the presence of cars, motorcycles, quads and buggys, on May 30th and 31st. Loulé is the nerve center of the race, which will also cover the Alcoutim and Almodôvar trails.

Almost 20 years later, TT is back to its origins. The 1996 edition was the last in which Loulé served as the headquarters of Transalgarve.

Since then, the main Algarve TT competition has gone through several denominations, different formats and locations. This year, she is back in the land that saw her born under the name of Baja European City of Sport.

This will be the third stage of the TT national championships. For Saturday, the 30th of May, the inspections in the Industrial Zone of Loulé are scheduled, followed by the prologue of approximately eight kilometers.

On this first day, the Assistance Park has the particularity of being located in the heart of the city, allowing the public to closely follow the work of the teams.

For Sunday, Baja takes place along the trails of the Loulé, Alcoutim and Almodôvar triangle. The selected route is very rolling, with good ground, characteristics very similar to rally sections.

Two selective sectors are designed, with 80 and 170 kilometers, which are disputed simultaneously for all participants.

The event closes at the end of Sunday afternoon, in Loulé, with the awards ceremony at Praça da República.

Organized by Algarve Automobile Club, the Baja European City of Sport 2015 has the active support of the Municipalities of Loulé, Alcoutim and Almodôvar and the sponsorship of Solverde-Casinos do Algarve.
