Paulo Gonçalves, Hélder Rodrigues, or Ruben Faria are some of the names confirmed for the “4 Horas TT Pereiro”, which take place on Saturday, February 28, at the Pereiro Dam, in Alcoutim.
The event in Moto TT, which consists of a 4-hour endurance race on a 6-kilometer circuit near the Dam and Picnic Park and Caravan Park in Pereiro.
Top riders on the national and international scene are already confirmed, such as Paulo Gonçalves, Hélder Rodrigues, Ruben Faria, António Maio, Pedro Afonso, Sebastian Bühler, Iron Man Artur Cotrim, among others. Alcoutenejo Luís Teixeira, National Champion in TT3 and 4th absolute, will have competition from other drivers from the municipality of Alcoutim, such as Fábio Vilão, Bruno Afonso and Óscar Pedro.
Each team will consist of one or two riders and one or two motorcycles, with only two classes: Class 1: 1 rider and one motorcycle; Class 2: 2 riders and 1 or 2 motorcycles.
The organization of the event is in charge of Grupo Desportivo de Alcoutim and of the Youth Association of the Northeast of Algarve (Inter Vivos), with the support of the Municipality of Alcoutim and the Union of Parishes of Alcoutim and Pereiro.
