The 38th edition of the Cross Internacional das Amendoeiras em Flor takes place on February 22nd. The race, which has been considered the best in the world several times, returns to the Pista de Cross das Açoteias, in Albufeira.
This year, the event's program includes the Corta Mato Masters Iberian Tournament, a competition organized for the first time and which will bring together hundreds of athletes from Portugal and Spain.
But competitions do not stop there. Before the Cross and the Iberian Tournament dispute, there will also be a regional competition that has more than half a thousand participants from the Algarve alone. The 13th Corta Mato das Areias de São João starts at 10:00 am, with the groups of benjamins, children, beginners and youth.
The municipality of Albufeirense also highlights the aspect of adapted sports that will take place in the afternoon, and which will bring together close to a hundred athletes.
