The three young people were made defendants, adding the PSP that "the necessary investigative steps will be continued for the complete clarification of the facts", as well as "determining the extent of the criminal activity" carried out by them.

At dawn on 16 January, around 3:00 am, the trio toured the streets of the center of Olhão, breaking windows and windows of houses, public buildings and shops, and a car.
