The first elections for the Regional Delegation of the Algarve of the Ordem dos Economistas took place on December 19, with a participation above the national average, despite the fact that there was only one list to suffrage.
The elected bodies are composed as follows: General Assembly – Francisco Severino (President), Maria José Grade da Encarnação (Secretary), Hélio Barros (Secretary) and Paulo Bernardo (Secretary).
For the Regional Secretariat, Pedro Pimpão (Chairman), Carlos Manso (Member), Luís Coelho (Member), Tiago Toregão (Member) and Ricardo Uva Sancho (Member).
The inauguration ceremony is scheduled for January 9, at 17 pm, at the Visualforma Business Center Auditorium, in Faro, and will feature the intervention of Bastonário Rui Leão Martinho.
It will also include a lecture given by João Duque, full professor of Finance at ISEG-University of Lisbon and administrator of the Novabase company.
