The works for cleaning the bay and reconditioning the blocks at Portinho da Arrifana have already been completed, announced the Municipality of Aljezur.
These repair works, under the responsibility of Sociedade Polis Litoral Sudoeste, became necessary following the damage caused by bad weather at the beginning of this year.
On the other hand, the contract to reinforce the cliff next to the Praia da Amoreira support is also already underway.
These are works with a total value of around 80 thousand euros.
In October, after the bathing season, the contracts for the Protection and Recovery of Dune and Cliff Systems in Samouqueira, Barradinha, Carriagem and Vale dos Homens, in the parish of Rogil, had been resumed, for a total value of 674 thousand euros.
The works for Praia da Arrifana (1.343.423 euros) and Amoreira Norte/Monte Clérigo (1 million euros) were also resumed, also interrupted due to the bathing season.
In addition to these, the construction works for Portinho do Forno (Carrapateira) worth 659 thousand euros, and Praia de Odeceixe, worth 331 euros, were also restarted.
