end of the year«Next destination: glamor and fun» is the motto of the end-of-year campaign that the Algarve Tourism Region (RTA) will launch in various media from this Saturday, the 6th, simultaneously in Portugal and Spain. In Lisbon and Porto there will also be original street actions, which will draw attention to the Algarve.

Created with the aim of showing another perspective of the region, in addition to the one best known about the Algarve as a summer holiday tourist destination, RTA's year-end campaign associates the concept of travel to a place of charm and glamour, where there is joy and fun also in this festive period.

In radio spots lasting 20 seconds, the tone is relaxed and inviting, in an advertisement that counts down to the longest night of the year. In all, there will be 230 advertising insertions on national radio stations and in Extremadura, Andalusia and Galicia, in Spain.

It is also in newspapers from these autonomous Spanish communities – which total more than 12 million inhabitants – and in Portuguese magazines that the campaign reaches the press, through 14 insertions.

In this case, readers are invited to “toast in the festive atmosphere” to which the Algarve's New Year's Eve has accustomed all those who seek it.

The message is further reinforced with an image that reflects the campaign's concept: celebrating the arrival of 2015 among friends and in a place that is both glamorous and fun.

This image will also be used on 140 billboards, distributed between Lisbon and Porto metro stations and the streets of Seville and Badajoz, as well as in a selection of online media from both countries, giving a multimedia character to the RTA campaign.

At the same time, a series of guerrilla actions will take place in strategic locations in Lisbon and Porto in the week of December 16th to 23rd, activating the campaign with animations designed to interact with the public on the street and on social networks. These are actions with a strong visual impact and viral effect, which aim to enhance the campaign and bring the public in the region closer.
