The Chamber of Silves will promote an obesity screening aimed at CMS employees, parish councils and schools from tomorrow, Tuesday, until December 12th.
The municipality's Health Profile Assessment and Physical Assessment Office (GAF) will measure the body mass index (BMI), fat percentage and waist circumference of employees from different services, also providing them with a consultation. of nutrition, which includes the definition of a personalized eating plan.
This is the second time that the GAF promotes a screening of this nature, with the municipality's employees. Enrollments must be made at the CMS Sports sector, by calling 282 440 270 (ext.: 438).
This is an action aimed at a specific audience, but the work of this department of the autarchy does not end here. "The GAF provides, free of charge, this type of screening to all residents who need advice, just by going to the complex of municipal swimming pools in Silves," according to the municipality.
