VIIIMushroom FairThe VIII Mushroom and Medronho Fair, IV International Festival of Traditional Liqueurs and Spirits take place this weekend, on November 29th and 30th, in the parish of S. Barnabé, municipality of Almodôvar.

The event is promoted by the City Council of Almodôvar, the Parish Council of São Barnabé and the Association for the Defense of the Heritage of Mértola and aims to show and value the region's endogenous resources, in particular mushrooms and arbutus.

Musical shows, sales and tasting of local products, tastings, conferences, cocktail workshops, taverns, world dances and lots of entertainment are some of the successful ingredients that will make up the event's poster, which also has many surprises!
