The national champion SL Benfica will face Galitos Barreiro Tley, the team won by
embodied in the dispute for the Cup of Portugal, in the game of the Super Cup for Men's Basketball, scheduled for October 19, at 16 pm, in the Pavilhão Desportivo de Albufeira.
The game will be broadcast live on Sport TV. Tickets cost 2 euros and will be on sale at the venue, on the day of the game, from 9:00 am, with the opening of the doors scheduled for 15:00 pm.
At half-time, the municipality's basketball clubs will face each other in a friendly match, which puts the Imortal Basket Clube and Albufeira Basketball Club on the pitch.
The Basketball Super Cup is a joint organization of the Portuguese Basketball Federation,
Basketball Association of the Algarve and the Municipality of Albufeira and has the support of APAL –
Albufeira Tourism Association.
This is the 4th edition in Albufeira of this event – after 2009, 2010 and 2013 – which brings the best national teams in the sport to the city.
