The contracts for the Protection and Recovery of Dune and Cliff Systems in Samouqueira, Barradinha, Carriagem and Vale dos Homens, in the parish of Rogil, totaling 674 thousand euros, have already been resumed by Sociedade Polis Litoral Sudoeste, after that time bathing, announced the Chamber of Aljezur.
The project for Praia da Arrifana (1.343.423 euros) and Amoreira Norte/Monte Clérigo (1 million euros), also interrupted due to the bathing season, will also be resumed immediately.
The contract for Portinho do Forno (Carrapateira) in the amount of 659 thousand euros is also in progress, as well as that of Praia de Odeceixe, in the amount of 331 thousand euros.
The repair works for the damage caused by the storms at the beginning of the year, in Portinho da Arrifana (reconditioning of blocks and cleaning of the bay) and reinforcement of the cliff at Praia da Amoreira, will also be carried out immediately. According to the City Council of Aljezur, this involves work in the amount of 79.950 euros.
