The «Outro Bar», in Praia da Rocha, was robbed and vandalized this morning, causing thousands of euros in damages.
The assailant broke windows, vandalized the furniture, broke the computer and fled on his bicycle with a bag loaded with drinks.
"They vandalized my bar," he told the Sul Informação Salvador Varela, manager of the «Outro Bar». “I have losses in the thousands of euros. Only on the computer I have a loss of 2000 euros”, he added.
The bar manager, alerted to the robbery, even saw the individual fleeing on a bicycle. He chased after him, even knocking him down, but the man managed to get away again. Afterwards, the assailant was sighted a second time, but the manager was unable to intercept him.
To what Sul Informação he found out, it is an «individual who is already more or less referenced».
Salvador Varela has already filed a complaint with the PSP, and the damage to the bar is covered by insurance.
