The Algarve Regional Delegation of the Employment and Vocational Training Institute (IEFP) and Zoomarine signed a cooperation agreement, on 23 October, at a ceremony held at that theme park, in Guia, Albufeira.
The agreement, which will run for three years, aims to establish a framework for collaboration that meets Zoomarine's business objectives, in terms of the development of human resources, through the adoption of technical intervention modalities and public policy measures of employment and vocational training that are more suitable and available at all times.
According to the IEFP, the signing of this Cooperation Agreement is also part of the objectives of this public institute, namely in the strengthening and development of the relationship between public employment services and companies, allowing for faster responses and adjusted to the needs of the labor market .
The agreement was signed by IEFP regional delegate Carlos Baía and Zoomarine administrator Pedro Lavia, having been ratified by the Secretary of State for Employment Octávio Oliveira, as part of the government's visit to the municipality of Albufeira.
Before this ceremony, a session was held for the delivery of training certificates to Zoomarine workers who attended training courses developed by the IEFP.
During his official visit to the municipality of Albufeira, the Secretary of State for Employment was also present at the opening session of the initiative “III AGE – Soluções de Emprego & Empreendedorismo”, met with business associations in the Algarve region and visited Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Albufeira (SCMA), where he participated in a ceremony for the delivery of training certificates to unemployed people who attended training sessions under the Vida Ativa measure, developed under a cooperation agreement between the IEFP and SCMA.
