As 1st Technical Conference “Algarve Traditional Fruits – Tradition and Innovation”, which aim to contribute to the improvement of production, qualification and valorization of carob, almonds, olives and figs, take place from October 30th to November 1st, at the ExpoAlgarve Pavilion, located in the Loteamento Industrial de Loulé.
This initiative follows on from the seminar held on April 30th, on the same theme, which had huge support and where the need to continue it was concluded.
The importance that this sector has already had in the region and the potential it still represents justify deepening and disseminating knowledge about it in this matter and the mobilization for cooperation of its agents, from production, through research and technology, to transformation and commercialization.
The days will include communications and workshops and informational and exhibition spaces, meeting spaces for those who already produce, research, sell or are interested in doing so. There will also be a display of technologies, equipment, products and presentation of research results.
The Journeys are aimed at producers, researchers, traders, technicians, students who work or intend to develop activity in the area, participate in these journeys. The aim is to add value to local products, exchange knowledge and bring agents closer together.
