Also dubbed «the craziest race in the world» attracted, mostly, Spanish and Portuguese competitors, who had to overcome an adventure race of about eight kilometers.

What makes this race special is what the participants find along the way, namely “a lot of mud and many obstacles with several incredible transitions”, according to the municipality of Faro.

«Eternal Running» was born in 2002 and, since then, it has already taken place all over the world, with passages in North and South America, Europe, Africa and Oceania. This was the first time you were in Faro, but the City Council, which was a partner of «Thunar Esports» in organizing the event, «hopes that this unusual event can return to the county again, next year, with a considerable increase in the number of participants».

The event was sponsored by «Fisherman's Friend» and «KH-7» and had the support of the Municipality of Loulé, Estádio Algarve, Algar, Europontal and União de Freguesias de Faro (See and Saint Peter).
