The Biergarten, Vila Vita Parc's German beer garden in Porches, is hosting another Oktoberfest, the famous Bavarian beer and food festival, until Wednesday, 1 October.
Open throughout the year, the Biergarten is particularly lively during the Oktoberfest, with traditional music every night, performed by the band Müncher Gaudiblosn, special menus of German delicacies and, of course, lots of Erdinger beer, one of the most famous brewers. highly regarded in Germany.
Menu highlights include “Best of Bavaria” with traditional sausages and authentic side dishes: a Bavarian Sample with pretzels, Obazda cheese, cold cuts, pickles and chive flavored bread, crispy pork shank with sauerkraut and traditional potato salad and , of course, the apple struddel.
The room team will be on hand to explain everything about the traditional delicacies.
All the sausage served at the Biergarten is handcrafted, without preservatives or additives, in the adjoining butcher, by the master butcher Thomas Weber.
The meat used by Thomas is organic and comes from Herdade dos Grous, the hotel's wine estate located in Alentejo.
With a children's play area in the garden, the festival has a delicious and fun program for the whole family. During Oktoberfest, the Biergarten will be open from 13:00 pm to 22:00 pm, with the band playing from 19:00 pm.
The Biergarten is located off the EN-125, at the Porches roundabout.
