The Algarve University Radio and the Sul Informação, as a partner of RUA FM, will represent Portugal, in the next few days, at the first University Media Fest (UMF), which will take place in Perugia, Italy, and where relevant topics will be debated about media in the university environment and science communication .
Lectures, workshops and moments of socializing and exchange of experiences are part of the program of this international initiative, promoted by «Radiophonica.com», the university radio of Perugia, in collaboration with the Association of University Radios of Italy RadUni. In all, representatives from 30 universities will be present, 22 of which are Italian and eight from Portugal, Spain, France, England, Germany and Poland.
This meeting is aimed at university radios in Europe, but also Italian students of social communication, and beyond. The UMF is intended to sow the seed for a European network of university media and to agree on a set of good practices, which were recorded in a letter of intent to be signed.
