O2 – Portimão is the winner of the 22nd Circuit de Mar do Algarve, which includes six events. The Portimão team reached the first position by teams, with Portinado and Lagoa Académico Clube in 2nd and 3rd places, respectively.
Pedro Pinotes, from Sporting Clube de Portugal, was the absolute and men's overall winner, and Kelly Jeffery, from BSC, won the women's overall.
For the SCP swimmer, it was the third consecutive victory, while the BSC swimmer achieved her second consecutive victory on the circuit.
The Sea Trials Circuit takes place every August in the Algarve and comprises six events (Praia da Rocha, Praia Grande, Praia de Quarteira, Praia de Altura, Praia de Alvor and Praia de Armação), involving around 500 to 600 swimmers from all over the country and some from Spain.
