Montenegro Parish Council available to «cooperate in solving the problem» of the Concentration of Motorcycles Faro

The executive of the Parish Council of Montenegro, in a meeting held this Thursday, resolved to «express its full availability to collaborate in solving the problem» of the performance of the security forces in the 33rd Concentration of Motorbikes of Faro.

That municipality, in whose territory the Concentration takes place, also calls for “dialogue between the various partners, in the search for pedagogical solutions that lead to the implementation of good practices and that these be the driving force for this event to last for many years. ».

The position of the Parish Council of Montenegro follows the disclosure of the letter sent by Moto Clube de Faro to the minister of internal administration, protesting against the actions of the security forces in the Concentration.

For his part, Steven Piedade, president of the Parish, calls for "common sense" and for "hasty decisions not to be taken without the entities first dialoguing in a proactive and constructive way."

The Parish of Montenegro congratulated itself, despite everything, on the success of the 33rd Concentration, an event that became «a reference for the Algarve region and for its capital, Faro».

«Over 33 years, the Moto Clube de Faro it proved its organizational and mobilizing capacity, as well as its contribution to the development of the local economy. For all that, he was awarded the highest honors by various regional, national and international entities, linked to the sport, tourism, culture, the social area, among others», stresses the municipality.

The Moto Club of Faro, «through the remarkable work done, he managed to create the brand Faro, Capital of Motorcycling and added partners from various areas, public and private. Thanks to a joint effort, it was possible to create the best conditions for the event to evolve in safety for both motorcyclists and Farenses. A long way has been traveled and today the International Motorbike Concentration of Faro is one of the biggest events held in the south of the country that attracts motorcyclists from all over Europe and other parts of the world, and has a marked place in the cultural agenda of Faro», adds the Junta de Montenegro.
