A bar security guard was stabbed to death early this Wednesday in Albufeira. In addition to the mortal victim of the same abuse, two were also injured, one of them in serious condition.
According to Correio da Manhã, the security guard was murdered with two stab wounds to the heart. The same source reveals that “initially, a source from the authorities had advanced with the number of two fatalities, but the PJ later confirmed only one death”.
The newspaper said that the seriously injured person is the suspect in the aggression and that he will be transferred to a hospital in Lisbon to be treated in the maxillofacial specialty.
The contempt occurred around 3:00 am, on the terrace of a bar on Avenida Sá Carneiro, in Oura. The CM states that it all started when “the security of the establishment intervened in a disagreement between the waiter and a group of clients, of Portuguese nationality and residing in the Greater Lisbon area”. The physical clashes ended with the arrival of a team from the GNR intervention unit.
According to the same source, there were two ambulances from the Albufeira Fire Department, a VMER vehicle and an INEM ambulance at the site, with the occurrence being the responsibility of the PJ.
