CCDRA shows at FATACIL how the European Union's money is invested in the Algarve

ccdralgarve on FATACILThere are four days to show how money has been invested in the Algarve from the different funds of the European Union, channeled to the region mainly through the Operational Program Algarve21. The initiative is from the Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR), which manages community funds, and is staged at this organization's pavilion at FATACIL, in Lagoa.

From this Sunday (August 17) until Wednesday (20), in a partnership between CCDRA, the newspaper Sul Informação and the Rádio Universitária do Algarve (RUA FM), between 19pm and 20pm, there will be an interview and hobby program, which will be broadcast live radio from the fair and then reported here in your newspaper. But, whoever is at FATACIL, will be able to watch it live and even participate, at least today, a day that will be dedicated to hobbies and games about Europe.

Thus, this Sunday, the 17th, there will be competitions for young people about the Route of the Seas of Europe, promoted by the Center Europe Direct Algarve.

Featured in the pastimes, especially aimed at young people aged between 6 and 16, will be highlighted themes such as the Blue Flag, the European Policy for the Sea, the most fished and traditional species of fish, such as sardines and mackerel.

As it should be, there will be attractive prizes, which include, for example, a voucher for a surfing lesson, offered by the Clube de Surf de Faro, to be used at Praia de Faro or in Sagres. But there are more surprises!

discoverTomorrow, Monday, the 18th, the focus will be on cross-border cooperation and a tourist project on the Discoveries, which unites the Algarve and Andalusia, the discover. To talk about these themes, at the CCDRA stand at FATACIL there will be special guests, who will be interviewed live on RUA FM, by journalists Elisabete Rodrigues and Pedro Duarte.

On Tuesday, the 19th, the live radio broadcasting time (from 19pm to 20pm) will have as its themes the Mediterranean Diet as a way of life and the new products of the TASA, a project linked to craftsmanship that combines tradition with innovation.

On Wednesday, the 20th, the main highlight will be the results of the Algarve21 Operational Program. What is this PO? What supported? What balance can be made? These will be some of the topics discussed in another hour of live conversation on RUA FM, from the CCDRA stand at FATACIL (and which will later be the subject of an article here on Sul Informação).

According to official data, on the 31st of July, 21 projects were approved by the PO Algarve, with an eligible investment volume exceeding 410,4 million euros, which corresponds to a community financial support of 207,9 million.
