Central AlgarveThe six municipalities of the «Algarve Central» network prepared the Interurban Mobility Study which aims to create an intervention strategy in the short, medium and long term in the field of mobility and transport systems.

«The strategy defined in this study aims to implement an integrated system that fosters the articulation between the various modes of transport, guarantees the improvement of the population's mobility conditions and promotes the improvement of the population's quality of life and social inclusion. The recommended intervention strategy is also based on a new governance model for the sector, embodied in the creation of a regional authority with responsibilities in terms of planning and management of the mobility and transport system in the Algarve», explained the Chamber of Olhão, in a note from press.

In this seminar, the last of the three phases of this study, it is intended to «disclose the main measures of the EMI action plan and discuss the subsequent actions for the implementation and financing of the recommended measures».
