Casa Manuel Teixeira Gomes will open its doors to local authors during the month of August and presents the “Collective Exhibition of Artists from Portimonenses”, where painting, photography, sculpture and illustration works signed by 23 creators gather.
The exhibition, which is scheduled to open at 19:00 on August 2, aims to promote the production of creatives born in Portimão or with deep emotional connections to the city, representing different areas of artistic expression.
The exhibition, which will run until August 31, comprises works by Bruno Santos, Filipe da Palma, Francisco Copeto, Franco Charais, João Almeida, João Paulo Soares, João Porfírio, João Sena, Cláudia Coelho, João Valongo, José Calado Moreira, José Garrancho, Manuela Silva, Margarida Tengarrinha, Maria São, Michel Januário, Pires de Sousa, Robson, Sarina Van Der Poel, Sofia Barreto, Stela Barreto, Tiago Silva and Paulo Quaresma.
Until the end of August, Casa Manuel Teixeira Gomes has a new opening hours: from Tuesday to Friday, from 10:00 am to 23:00 pm, on Saturday and Sunday, from 17:00 pm to 23:00 pm, closed to the public on Mondays.
