António Raposo, who became National Champion in the 55-59 group, Liliana Veríssimo, National Vice-Champion 25-29, and Ana Ribeiro Sanches, also Vice-Champion in the 35-39 group, were the three athletes of the O2-Portimão team featured in the National Triathlon Championship, held on June 10 in Peniche.
In what is considered the “queen” competition of Portuguese triathlon, in which the national champions are defined by age groups, around 270 athletes from all over the country participated. O2-Portimão was represented by seven athletes, four male and three female.
O2-Portimão will only compete in Triathlon again on the 7th of September, in the Armação de Pêra Aquatlo and Triathlon.
