«Poemas de Abril» is the title of the show scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, June 7th, at 16 pm, at the Ruínas Romanas de Milreu, presented by the Casa de Cultura of Loulé.
«Through the power of the words, the charm and beauty of the words, we want to continue to awaken and dynamize the energies that exist in ourselves to contribute fully and in a practical way to personal and cultural development, promoting the enrichment of citizenship, in gratitude to the captains of Abril e à Liberdade”, stresses that association.
The «April Poems» have as protagonists Ana Paula Sousa, António Clareza, José Teiga, Martim Santos and Sérgio Sousa.
On Sunday, June 8, at 18 pm, it will be the turn of the Arquente association to take another concert in the evening to the Fortaleza de Sagres, this time with Stereoboy.
«Concertos ao Entardecer» translates a concept that combines the new musical sounds of emerging Portuguese bands with the natural beauty of a late afternoon, where the surrounding landscape speaks for itself. This is a project of Associação Arquente, which was born in the Eastern Algarve and which in 2013 was extended to Sagres, through the extension of the concert cycle to this region of the Barlavento Algarvio, namely the Fortress of Sagres.
The shows in Milreu and Sagres are part of the DiVaM program – Dynamization and Valorization of Monuments, promoted by the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve.

This is a competition aimed at students in the 4th year of elementary school, whose objectives, since its first edition in 2007, are to promote, stimulate the interest in reading and knowledge of Portuguese language works and authors, to reward excellence of expressive reading, contribute to the National Reading Plan, commemorate the Day of Portugal, Camões and the Portuguese Communities and strengthen the proximity of the region's communities with the monument.
It is an organization of the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve and the Services Directorate of the Algarve Region of the General Directorate of School Establishments, which is sponsored by FNAC Algarve Shopping and supported by the National Reading Plan, Municipality of Vila do Bispo, Groups of Basic Education Schools in the municipalities of Terras do Infante – Vila do Bispo, Aljezur and Lagos.
