The first edition of the Rhythmic Gymnastics Festival – Portimão Arena Gym is scheduled for 20:00 on July 4th, bringing together young people from clubs in the municipality affiliated with the Algarve Gymnastics Association and practitioners of the various specialties of the sport, culminating in another sporting season .
In addition to AGRP – Association of Rhythmic Gymnastics of Portimão, which organizes the event, the local classes of GDR Alvorense, Mexilhoeirense Instruction and Recreation Club, Poeta António Aleixo Secondary School and CAPELA – Support Center for Eastern Emigrant Population and Friends, will participate. Also performing at Portimão Arena are quality Algarve classes representing the Enxerim DG, Loulé Gymnastics Club, Lagos Gymnasium Club and São Bartolomeu de Messines' House of People, as well as the national selection of rhythmic gymnastics groups, which will participate in the next World Championship.
In total, the I Portimão Arena Gym will receive around 350 young people between the ages of 5 and 17, in an AGRP organization supported by the Municipality of Portimão and the Gymnastics Federation of Portugal, among others.
