The CRIA-Division of Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer of the University of Algarve presented on June 18, in Sarajevo, the Business Ideas Contest "Ideas in Box" as a good practice to support business creation (start-ups e spin-offs).
This initiative, included in the second meeting of the Transnational Working Groups, was based on the analysis of good practices according to criteria of relevance, usability, replicability and ease of integration into innovation support programs.
O “Ideas in Box” by UAlg it was considered as the initiative that, overall, best meets the aforementioned criteria.
Because it involves, at each edition, a growing number of entrepreneurs and regional stakeholders, for effectively supporting the creation of new technology-based companies and for presenting low operational costs, it was considered a successful initiative and capable of being transferred to other contexts regional.
Within the scope of the ENERGEIA project – Energy Enterprise Generation in the Med Area, co-financed by the MED Programme, 14 Good Practices in terms of support for the creation of companies were presented and discussed.
