Themed tours for journalists, lectures, business meetings, exhibitions and workshops are some of the proposals for the first edition of the «Nature Tourism Biennial – Algarve 2014», to be presented on June 2, at 14 pm, at the Fortaleza de Sagres.

It intends to be the largest fair in the south dedicated to nature tourism products, responsible for around 22 million trips a year in Europe, and all its details will be revealed in a brief seminar open to the media.

The presentation is organized by the three promoters of the biennial – Associação Vicentina, In Loco and Associação Terras do Baixo Guadiana – and will be attended by the Secretary of State for Forests and Rural Development Francisco Gomes da Silva.

In its debut, the «Nature Tourism Biennial – Algarve 2014» brings Portugal, Greece and Spain together to promote the natural and cultural heritage of the destination, with the support of the Algarve Tourism Region, Algarve Tourism Association and municipality of Aljezur.

The first edition of the Nature Tourism Biennial will take place from September 26th to 28th in Aljezur, announced the Vincentian Association, project leader.
