Well-known Portuguese comedians Aldo Lima, José Pedro Gomes, Jorge Mourato and Ricardo Peres are the protagonists of the play «Os Idios», which will be presented at the Municipal Auditorium this Saturday at 21 pm.
This comedy, adapted from the English play «Idiots of Ants», by Andrew Spiers, Elliott Tiney, Benjamin Wilson and James Wrighton, explores the fine line between reality and fiction provided by social media.
“In the XNUMXst century, globalization embraces everything and everyone, and the arts are no exception. Today's reality has led the authors of the play to warn of the invasion of privacy, through social networks, so used by most people», describes the Chamber of Olhão.
The show «The idiots», produced by the UAU, «intends to detect previously unknown symptoms, in supposedly normal people». «Today's fiction and reality are on the verge of a click, a Like, or a LOL», which, by the way, are expected throughout the play, describes the municipality.
