Odeleite, in Castro Marim, will celebrate Workers' Day, the 1st of May, with football, a local craft and sweets market and a sardine. Tomorrow is dedicated to the party, which will take place in Ribeira de Odeleite.
The day begins with an Indoor Football Tournament, which will pit 4 teams from the municipality, at 9 am. From 10 am onwards, the youngest will also be able to do “sports”, in this case on inflatables, which can be enjoyed until sunset.
At the same time, there will be a small market of crafts and regional sweets, «where visitors can buy pieces of our traditional crafts, as well as some of the delights of local sweets», announces the organization, in charge of the Parish Council of Odeleite, in collaboration with the Social Association of the Parish and the support of the Chamber of Castro Marim.
At lunch, party participants are invited to a sardine, where bread and wine will not be lacking, or even dance music, which will be in charge of the «+ 2» group.
Throughout tomorrow, the competition «Aldeia Florida» will also be highlighted, which challenges the inhabitants of the parish of Odeleite to decorate the platbands, windows and patios of their homes with flower pots. There will also be an exhibition of «Mays».
The closing of the Labor Day celebrations ends with a concert by “Rosinha”, at 18 pm.
