O2-Portimão was the Algarve club with the most podiums, out of a total of three, in the XIII Triathlon Cidade de Quarteira, held this Sunday, with the participation of 287 athletes.
The podiums of the O2-Portimão triathlon team were achieved by António Raposo (V4) and Larrissa Moller (V2), who climbed to first place, and also by Ana Leonor Sanches, who was 2nd in the V1 step. Leonardo Lopes, from Louletano (V2), 1st classified, and Amandio Norberto, also took the podium.
This Triathlon integrated in the Cup of Portugal broke the record of participations, with several clubs in the Algarve present.
For men's teams, Louletano got 8th place, Leões do Sul got 12th and O2 – Portimão got 15th. In the classification by women's teams, O2 – Portimão won 5th place.
The O2 – Portimão team is already participating on the 27th of April in the Oeiras Triathlon (standard).
