The best young accordion players in the Algarve, many of them already awarded in national and international competitions, will perform at the Chapel of Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe, in Raposeira (Vila do Bispo), tomorrow, Saturday, the 12th, at 16 pm.
The concert will be directed by Frédéric Deschamps, president of the International Confederation of the Accordion, and by Gonçalo Pescada, and culminates in an accordion master class.
Some of the young musicians are world runners-up and national accordion champions.
As part of the commemorations of the International Day of Monuments and Sites, this recital is promoted by the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve and the Academy of Music of Lagos.
