Faro there will be a «Cheese and Wine Fair» and the first edition of the event will take place between April 24th and 27th, at Jardim Manuel Bívar. These two gastronomic products are just the basis of the event, as other regional delicacies can be found.
«In addition to cheeses and wines, this Fair, which also aims to create new dynamics and new attractive elements in the city of Faro, will have the exhibition and sale of various products of regional artisanal production such as sweets, honey, liqueurs and sausages, to which will be added a gastronomy tent with taverns», announced the Chamber of Faro, which organizes the event through the municipal company Ambifaro.
But, as the name indicates, the focus will be on cheese and wines, products that will be given to taste in tastings that will be promoted.
Not least because the main objective of the Fair is to allow visitors to «deepen their knowledge in a sector that is strategic for the economy of our country and that needs to be valued and promoted, reinforcing territorial cohesion and the importance of endogenous products in the economy and identity.
