The Algarve delegation of UGT – União Geral de Trabalhadores will promote its second regional congress on Saturday, at the Algarve Hotel and Tourism School, in Largo de São Francisco, in Faro. The presence of the secretary general of the inter-union Carlos Silva is confirmed.
The II Congress of UGT-Algarve, which takes place between 9 am and 12:30 pm, will serve to elect the statutory bodies of UGT's Algarvian delegation for the next four years, as well as for the presentation and voting of the 2010 – 2014 Quadrennium Activities Report There will also be interventions from different personalities.
«This important event at the regional level for UGT and its affiliated unions takes place in an extraordinarily difficult period for the country and especially for our region», considers UGT/Algarve.
