The mayor of Loulé will be one of the speakers at the debate on tolls on Via do Infante «Forum Algarve – Andalusia», which will take place next Saturday, from 15 pm, at the NERA Pavilion, in the Industrial Zone of Loulé. A session marked by the presence not only of the mayors of the Algarve, but also of the president of the Algarve Tourism Region and former mayor of the PSD Desidério Silva.

The debate, an initiative of the Commission of Users of Via do Infante, with the support of the Loulé municipality, will have the motto "A ruinous PPP for the Algarve" and is intended to focus on "one of the matters that has most concerned the Algarve officials and the population for the negative impact in economic and social terms for the region”.

In addition to the Loulé mayor, who has publicly expressed his opposition to the introduction of tolls on the A22 and the way in which they have harmed the regional economy and all the Algarve, participates Vítor Aleixo, who has repeatedly criticized the collection of Tolls on Via do Infante, will be accompanied at the debate table by João Vasconcelos, member of CUVI (Commission of Users of Via do Infante) and councilor of Portimão City Council, Jorge Botelho, president of AMAL – Association of Municipalities of the Algarve, Desidério Silva, president of RTA – Algarve Tourism Region, António Ponce, president of FOE – Federación Onubense de Empresários de Huelva, and Paulo Morais, jurist and vice-president of the Transparency and Integrity Association.
