In recent weeks, the GNR has promoted awareness-raising actions on fire prevention in municipalities where there is a high risk of these calamities, namely in the municipalities of Aljezur, Monchique, Lagos and Vila do Bispo.
Through the Service for the Protection of Nature and the Environment (SEPNA), that police force has sought to convey the message of measures to be used to defend the forest against fire and to raise awareness of the correct use of fire.
