The Basket Club in Quarteira Tubarões celebrates its 20th anniversary on Saturday, March 22, and it is possible, in the afternoon, from 14:15 pm, to attend activities to the delight of members and sympathizers at the Drª Laura Ayres Pavilion, in Quarteira.
The event kicks off with a 2 BAll contest (2X2 system). At 14:45 pm there will be a game of non-federates and old glories. This is followed by the triple throwing contest – 1x1 system (15:30), mini-basketball demonstration (16:00) and a slam dunk contest (16:45).
After the break, there will be two mixed games of Sub 8/10 and Sub 12.
One of the highlights of this anniversary is scheduled for 17:45 pm, the ALL STAR game – Public Launch Contest, with the offer of a CBQ Tubarões t-shirt.
This day culminates with a dinner open to all directors, coaches, athletes and their families, as well as to all club supporters, which will take place at 20:30 pm, at La Cabane Restaurant.
Loulé City Council congratulates the club for yet another anniversary, underlining the importance it has had in the context of sport in the Algarve, in particular basketball.
