Between the 2nd and 5th of March, the School of Education and Communication of the University of Algarve will host the XV National Meeting of Education in Science (XV ENEC).

Under the motto Current trends in science education, the XV ENEC will allow the sharing and discussion of issues related to the teaching and learning of science, the professional development of educators and teachers, the curriculum and educational policies, the relationship between school and community, didactic innovation and training in physical and natural sciences.

Recognizing the importance of new educational technologies and the benefit of the interaction of science with other areas of knowledge, the Meeting also intends to establish a dialogue between the sciences and the arts, literature, social sciences and sports sciences.

Given the multiplicity of contexts in which science education takes place, the program is aimed at researchers, teachers, educators, technicians and students from different levels of education.

More than two hundred participants from all over the country are expected, with an identical number of communications being planned.
