Olhanense “received” this night the “Red Lantern”, after losing to Paços de Ferreira by 3-1.

With this result, the life of the team from Olhão in the I Liga became even more complicated, as they started to have a disadvantage in the direct confrontation with another team that is fighting for maintenance.

The 45th minute was unlucky for Olhanense, as they conceded two goals in a streak. First Del Valle and, soon after, Bebé, scored for the home team and ensured that their team went to half-time with a comfortable advantage.

In the second half, Olhanense tried to react and scored early, through Paulo Regula. But the goal of the Algarve, 52 minutes in, was not repeated and it was Paços de Ferreira who scored the goal that makes the difference in the direct confrontation (in Olhão, the game ended 1-XNUMX, for the home team), already six minutes passed regular time.

Olhanense is, thus, in the 16th and last position of the I League, with 12 points, one less than Paços de Ferreira and three less than Belenenses, the 14th ranked.
