Awareness actions on the “Promotion of the Habitat of the Iberian Lynx and the Black Vulture in the Southeast of Portugal” will take place in schools in the municipality of Silves, on the 25th, 26th and 27th of February.

Aimed at 3rd cycle and secondary students, these sessions will be promoted by the Youth Sector of the Municipality of Silves (CMS) and by technicians from the League for the Protection of Nature (LPN) specialized in these themes.

These actions begin on the 25th, at 8:30 am, being the first group to receive this training belonging to the Secondary School of Silves.

Still on the 25th, but at 13:24 pm, a group of students from the Dr. Garcia Domingues school in Silves will have the opportunity to learn more about issues related to the habitats of these two species.

On the 26th, at 10:15 am, it will be the turn of the students from the Escola EB 2/3 João de Deus, from SB Messines and on the 27th, the action will conclude with a group of students from the Escola EB 2/3 Dr. António from Costa Contreiras, from Armação de Pêra, at 10:15 am and a group from Escola EB 2/3 do Algoz, at 14:25.
