Olhanense will return to play at Estádio José Arcanjo as of this weekend. The Olhão club hosts Vitória de Setúbal in the city, after having played all the home games for the XNUMXst League championship at Estádio Algarve. This situation did not go down well with its supporters, who did not hide their displeasure at the choice of the new direction.

The justification for moving to the Stadium located in Parque das Cidades, located at the confluence of Loulé and Faro, was the bad condition of José Arcanjo's pitch. This week, the use of the Olhanense stadium received the green light from the League of Clubs, in time to host the last game of the 1st round of the championship.

A change that joins the change in technical command, which also took place this week. Paulo Alves left the club, just three months after joining, to replace Abel Xavier. Barcelona did not resist the series of bad results that left the club in the last position of the league, at the turn of the year. The Italian Giuseppe Galderisi took his place. The newly created SAD do Olhanense has capital coming from Italy and an Italian in the direction.

It's a case of saying that, at Olhanense, the new year really means new life.
