Between December 14th and January 5th, the Teia D'Impulsos association holds the event Caminho dos Presépios for the first time, which invites you to take a tour of Portimão and Ferragudo, where different ways of representing one of the great symbols of the court will be on display. Christmas.
While shopping for Christmas in traditional stores and recovering energy with the local gastronomic offer, visitors will be able to follow pedestrian routes specially delineated through the streets of Ferragudo and the center of Portimão, where several cribs are displayed inside commercial and commercial establishments. catering, or in public spaces.
The official opening will take place at 15:14 on December 43, in Ferragudo, next to the Post Office in Largo Rainha D. Leonor, with 33 establishments that have joined this initiative, 60 of which are in Portimão and ten in Ferragudo. which joined private individuals and public and private entities that also wanted to embrace the challenge, in a total of about XNUMX cribs.
To encourage originality and quality in the compositions, a competition will be held to select the three best-designed cribs, as well as the most creative, the most original and the one that represents the best message.
The initiative, promoted in partnership with the Municipality of Portimão and the Parish Councils of Ferragudo and Portimão, aims to encourage circulation in the central areas of the two localities, while also promoting the Christmas spirit in the streets and promoting commerce and restoration.
As the composition of the cribs will be under the responsibility of the establishments and entities involved, the Caminho dos Nativity will also enhance the involvement of the community and the union of efforts of all, in order to make this year's Christmas different and more festive.
